Dealer's Remarks
This 1965 Fiat 600D Multipla reportedly underwent refurbishment in Italy before being brought to England, and was imported to the US seven years ago. Finished in blue and white, the car is powered by a 767cc inline-four coupled with a four-speed manual gearbox. This Multipla is offered by the seller on behalf if its current owner with a clean Texas title.The Multipla rode on a 79” wheelbase and featured seating for up to six occupants with a fixed front bench and fold-down rear seats. This example was reportedly refurbished for its last Italian owner, and detailed photos of the paintwork, lenses, and trim are provided in the gallery below. A gold ASI plate is mounted on the front bumper.
Silver-painted 12” steel wheels are equipped with Fiat hubcaps and BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. The Multipla featured double-wishbone front and trailing-arm rear suspension with coil springs as well as four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.
The six-passenger cabin is upholstered in tan vinyl with cream piping and rubber floor coverings. The painted dash houses an ashtray and a 110 km/h speedometer. Just over 1,800 kilometers are shown on the five-digit odometer, total mileage is unknown.
All four single rear seats fold flat, allowing for increased cargo area and an even loading surface. A covered spare tire is mounted in the front passenger footwell.
The rear-mounted 767cc OHV inline-four produced 22 horsepower when new and is paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The Multipla featured a larger-capacity radiator than the standard 600 as well as a fuel tank mounted above the gearbox.
